Eastie Jets Prepared For Takeoff!

The 2010 Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) High School Basketball Tournament kicked off last night. Locally,no less than 10 Boston based schools are involved in the annual boy's and girl's "big dance". Monday evening saw J.E. Burke and Latin Academy girls teams win big,as well as a tremendous victory for Charlestown's boys squad. Tonight, much of the focus will be in East Boston where the sixth seeded Jets will begin their tournament run. The always strong East Boston boys, (16-4) will host Lawrence High at 7pm.If you have the oppurtunity,I encourage you to come out and support our student/athletes!
