Westie Defeats Brighton In Overtime

West Roxbury High Boy's hoop squad took another giant step toward next week's BPS Tournament with a hard fought 73-70 overtime victory Monday evening in Brighton. In a game that was as close as it gets,Westie did all it could to fight off a talented and resiliant Bengal team. Westie led by one at the half and the game was tied at 50 at the end of the 3rd quarter. This game was so close that it really wasn't decided till the clock turned to all zeroes. Congrats and good luck to both teams who no doubt will be a tough out in the Eastern Mass. Tournament!
