Huge High School Hoop Games Tonight!

Tonight's schedule of high school basketball games could be characterized as either a hoop junkie's dream,or nightmare.In Boys action,city champion Madison Park hosts North Attelboro and Boston English travels to Milton High looking to upset the defending state champs. In girls hoop,perennial power J.E. Burke hosts Ashland High. The isssue here the tip-off times. English is scheduled for 6:15 and the MP & Burke games are slated for 7pm.Mmmm...if only ESPN picked them up,lol! Good luck to all of our city schools as they take their next giant step in the state tournament. Last night Cathedral High advanced in division 4 action as they walloped Blue Hills Regional.They'll face Marian High on Saturday,cool. What this writer doesn't comprehend is the location of the contest.As a 3rd seed facing a #6 seed,WHY IS THE GAME BEING HELD AT MALDEN CATHOLIC HIGH (as noted on the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association's website)? Most 2nd round MIAA tournament games are held at the higher seed's court. My advice is to check with the schools involved if you are planning to attend the game, just in case this is a mixup!
