The Dorchester Eagles are now the 2008 Division 1 Pop Warner Midget Champions of New England!!!!!!
The Eagles defeated a powerful and talented Boston Raider team which is based in Dorchester as well.
After leading 7-0 at the half ,the DPW blocked two Raider extra point attempts and went on a long, hard fought scoring drive late in the fourth quarter to go take a 13-12 lead that they protected until the clock ran out on the Central Mass. Champions.
The DPW now move on to the National Championships at Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida!!!
