East Boston High's boys hoop team got knocked down early,but got right up off the mat,dusted themselves off and more than matched a powerhouse New Mission squad blow for blow, as it defeated the Roxbury based school 64-59 at Madison Park last night. The Jets got standout performances by several players as it fought off New Mission till the final buzzer.
Eastie will face Charlestown High tonight at the same venue for the Boston City Championship. Congratulations to East Boston!
