The 2010 Hyde Park Cowboys Pop Warner Midget (A) team has earned their way to Florida this afternoon. The Hockomock League Champions defeated the Worcester Vikings 27-0 in the Division 1 Pop Warner New England Championships. Hyde Park,which took on the Vikings at Commerce Bank Stadium's Foley Field didn't seem to mind playing just a stone's throw from the Viking's home field. They brought a huge crowd that was extremely vocal as they cheered the Cowboys from the time they took the field till their bus departed on a merry trip back to the Hub.
Sonofcodmansquare.com once again is extremely proud to have been in attendance as an amazing event took place. This 2010 team is the finest Hyde Park has ever assembled and it was a pleasure and honor to witness. They will now represent New England in the National Championships at Disney next month!
