On a perfect football weather morning in Jamaica Plain, the J.D. O'Bryant High football squad played a near perfect game. They dominated on both sides of the ball and kept their opponent off balance the entire game during their 36-0 shutout against J.E.Burke. The 10am game was played at English High due to Friday's storm. The natural grass surface at White Stadium where the game was originally scheduled to take place, was spared from potential damage.
O'Bryant which improved to 2-1 was led on offense from their All City quarterback Omari Alfred (#10 below). The senior signal caller lined up at wide reciever and halfback as well. Today's game was the 2010 debut for Alfred, and his on field presence was immediately a factor as the Tigers finished the first half with a 24-0 lead. Congrats to O'Bryant High on their huge victory!
