Madison Park Wins Baseball Crown.....Again!
The city's skyline may have been slightly overcast as a result of the wildfires in Quebec,but the sun beamed extremely brightly over English High School's baseball diamond for the Cardinals of Madison Park this afternoon. In a game which saw a mighty South Boston Knight squad jump out to a 5-2 lead in the 3rd inning,the defending BPS Champs hit their way back into the game in the 5th and never looked back. The result was a 12-5 victory and back to back city titles for MP.
