Hello Everyone! I hope this new year has been healthy,prosperous and safe for you and yours!
This week is not only a vacation week for Boston students,but annually the time for our finest hoop teams to go battle for the oppurtunity to be named "City Champions". The Boston Public Schools Girls and Boys Basketball Championships will be once again held at Madison Park High School beginning with the ladies semi final on Wednesday. The young men tip off on Thursday, and finals for both will take place on Friday. If you've never been to this tournament,trust me it's a great time.All teams involved will undoubtedly move on to the state tournament but winning the city title is always extremely special and important to our student /athletes. To simply say it's for bragging rights is an understatement. Please get out and support our youth.They're doing big things everyday and this is just one of them!
