Season Ends For Mattapan Patriots

After 4 exciting quarters of up and down the field football,the Mattapan Patriots football team fell to the North Middlesex Wranglers today,36-20 in the New England Pop Warner State Final today . The 2009 Division 2 Eastern Massachusetts Pee Wee Division Champions Patriots fought hard,but the ground game of the Central Mass. champ Wranglers proved to be more than Mattapan could handle. The game, played at Oakmont Regional High School, marked the end of a 9-3 season for Mattapan. A season they can be proud of. This team overcame long odds and surprised alot of people along the way.
