Local Pop Warner Team Is Going To Disney World!

On a cold and drizzly morning,the Boston Raiders Junior Pee Wee team defeated the Danbury (Conn.) Trojans 19-0 and will represent New England in the National Pop Warner Championships in Orlando,Fla.. Despite the wet conditions, the Raiders,based in Dorchester,made big plays everytime they had to and kept their opponent off balance all game long. The 10am start and bad weather at Foley Field in Worcester didn't prevent Raider fans from coming out and cheering on the D-Team. It was great to see so much support for our children at a time when they needed it the most! Boston dominated the game and kept their poise while showing why they belong in the national title hunt.
