The Boston Raiders Pop Warner Football team kicked off the 2009 football season hosting Chicopee Ma. Pop Warner at Franklin Field yesterday.
With several games being played at the "Raider Dome", and the A level team on the road in Shrewsbury, the 09 season began under sunny skies and Fall like temps that made for a great day to be out and supporting the organization and the many,many children that participate in it.
The weather,along with great food,music,and family type atmosphere are part of why our community should come out in large numbers more often to help encourage our youth to become a part of good, positive things like this.
Good luck to the entire Boston Raiders organization,and thanks for making a difference in thousands of young boys & girls lives for well over three decades!
